Are these real people?

No. Every face is generated from scratch and depicts nobody. The compiled brief always opens by stating the subject is a fictional person who does not exist, and that clause is prepended by the app rather than stored in an editable field, so it cannot be removed.

Can I make it look like a specific person?

No, and the app says so rather than trying. A guard runs in your browser over every free-text field before anything is spent. Likeness constructions aimed at a named individual, a public figure, or someone you personally know are blocked with an explanation, not quietly stripped and sent anyway.

What does a render cost?

The app quotes it before you press the button. A render on GPT Image 2 reserves about 27 cents per image and has settled at roughly one cent per image in practice; the reserve is deliberately far above the real cost. The figure shown is always the per-image reserve multiplied by the batch size, never a single-image number standing in for a batch.

Can I use it without signing in?

The whole attribute vocabulary, the compiled brief, the brief lint and the bundled example are free and work signed out. Rendering is a metered run and guest sessions carry no balance, so the app says that at the run button and offers to sign you in rather than failing after you press it.

Where do the generated faces go?

Into your own app storage on your account, and the gallery displays them through short-lived signed URLs. Shoots reopen from history on any device you sign in on. You can delete any face, and deleting it removes the stored file too.
